Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using LexiFont ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please uninstall the Extension.

2. License

LexiFont is provided to you under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use it on Chromium-based browsers for personal or commercial reading purposes.

The Extension bundles the following open-source fonts, each under its own license:

• OpenDyslexic — SIL Open Font License 1.1
• Lexend — SIL Open Font License 1.1
• Atkinson Hyperlegible — Braille Institute License (free for commercial and personal use)
• Comic Neue — SIL Open Font License 1.1

3. LexiFont Pro

LexiFont Pro is a one-time purchase unlocking additional features (Lexend, Atkinson Hyperlegible, Comic Neue, tinted overlay, advanced spacing). The $14.99 fee is a single payment — not a subscription. The license is valid for the lifetime of the product.

A Pro license may be activated on up to 5 installations of Chrome. Attempting to activate on more than 5 devices will fail until you deactivate an existing device via Settings.

4. Refunds

LexiFont Pro is backed by a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, reply to your purchase email or write to hello@lexifont.com within 14 days of the purchase date. Refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile or extract the bundled font files for redistribution; (b) resell, sublicense, or redistribute LexiFont; (c) use LexiFont to harm, defraud or deceive others; (d) circumvent the license verification in any way.

6. Warranty disclaimer

The Extension is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. LexiFont is an accessibility tool and is not medical advice. We do not warrant that it will fit any particular reading need or that it will be free of bugs or compatible with every website.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will LexiFont be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Extension. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for LexiFont Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim (or zero, if you use only the free tier).

8. Termination

We may terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms, including by attempting to pirate or misuse the Pro license. On termination, you must stop using Pro features; the free tier remains available.

9. Updates

LexiFont updates automatically through the Chrome Web Store. Significant changes to pricing or feature availability will be communicated via the changelog and/or this page.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the seller's registered jurisdiction (handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record). Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved amicably via email to hello@lexifont.com.
